[Sca-cooks] OOP - help my stews!

We use our crockpots all the time..  I do not find a bitter taste but other
have given you ideas on how to avoid that.  I've even used mine to make
glace (pardon the missing accent) chesnuts ( a favorite of my mother).

As for cooking and having a dinner ready at home.  Mine has a timer and then
goes to "warm" so the food stays warm but doesn't really continue to cook.
If yours doesn't have that feature there should be nothing wrong with
cooking on low for a longer period of time.  I have never had the meat go
"off" if I do this and I have done it for years.
