Greetings! Ken Albala, who has written some of the best books on
historic cookery, has a blog site (http://kenalbala.blogspot.com/), in
case you would like to see the "personal" side of him outside of his
books. He's currently making garum.
Some of his books are "The Banquet", "Food in Early Modern Europe",
"Eating Right in the Renaissance", "Cooking in Europe 1250-1260" and more.
