[Sca-cooks] OT earthquake

When I felt the earthquake hit (I work in West Virginia) I immediately went to usgs.gov and saw the Colorado earthquake from the night before. Then a few moments later it was updated with the Virginia earthquake as well. Having been born & raised in California, I'm used to earthquakes and it had been my habit to always go to usgs.gov since the mid 1990's to look up information there.

Yep, It was on the southern border of Colorado.  5.5, but ours didn't impact a large population, so we don't rate in the news like the east coast.  I hope every body is good out there!!  And batten down the htches for Irene!!  Stay safe.

Did Outlands have a quake today?

The one on the East Coast was centered in Mineral, Virginia.
It was felt here in Michigan.
