[Sca-cooks] MisRepresenting the Outlands was snails....

Could be, but with the economy what it is, we're seeing smaller crowds here
in Atlantia as well. Normally we have well over 600 at Twelfth NIght...and
when the cook who did the feast cooks a feast, they always sell out. This
year, attendance was less than half, and only 1/3 of the 600 that were
planned for at feast were there. Now part of the problem was that it was
held at a site that was way off of the "beaten track" near the Outer Banks
of NC...and so there wasn't a large population nearby...which meant that
most folks had at least a four-hour drive to the event. However, in the
past, that wouldn't have made a difference. We have also seen a trend over
the past few years even for very popular events toward not making
reservations until the very last minute. Some events and feasts do still
sell out, but not nearly as many...and not nearly as early.
