[Sca-cooks] some liver and other offal recipes

I learned to coat the liver in corn meal and gently fry both the liver and onions in bacon grease. Is this a traditional method?
My Grandfather used to use bone marrow like butter. It is hard to find bone now with marrow.

Bear, your suspicion is correct. That is just what I found when I 
researched the recipe originally and what I use when I make the dish.
