In Oklahoma, anything greater than 3.2 malt liquor can only be purchased in
a package store. Texas is even screwier. Beer and wine can be sold in
groceries, but it is county option. About 50 counties in the state are
technically "dry." Beverages above 15.5 percent ABV require a seperate
license. The best place to find lambics in Texas is a big liquor store with
a wide selection.
