Today the BBC is featuring this brief audio slide show about the Tudor
House, Southampton, a museum which has reopened after a 10-year
restoration. Many of the images are breathtaking, and the music and
narration are delightful:

For those of you who can't go all the way to England to look at Tudor
houses, consider Agecroft Hall in Richmond. It is the real deal:


Lady Sarah and I, with our friend Denise, have toured Agecroft Hall, and
found it fascinating. It is well worth a visit for any Scadian, even if
you don't do Tudor.
