If you know someone with a membership, Costco actually has really good
saffron for a very reasonable price - online (I just checked) it was
5g for 21.99, shipping included. I've bought it at the store before
(even though I was dubious price wise, too good to be true, and it was
what it says it is).

Does anyone on the list have a good source for it, either at Pennsic or online? A little googling suggests that about $5/g or $100/oz is the best online price one can reasonably hope for. The pepperer's guild used to have it, as I recall, for less than that--but that was a long long time ago.
