[Sca-cooks] One book on history of food

I like getting lots of opinions, so I probably haven't asked anyone (Huette had given me a suggestion before and I have the book... looking for even more suggestions even from her and others)...hopefully this isn't too silly of a question.

I had to reduce my cookbook library recently in general and kept just what few historical books I had. I don't have many, though the ones I do have are good thanks to Mistress Huette. I wonder, however, as I go over to Dame Selene's House and Mistress Huette's, are there specific books that one should just have if you need to do more research for cooking projects and looking up ingrediants to find out if something was new world or old world? Are there specific books you all always turn to? Suggestions?

Thanks! :)
