[Sca-cooks] Game for Your Feast

------------------------------
I serve venison quite commonly (I know a place I can get it the same price
as beef), and have served rabbit (wild and farmed) and fish. Also quail,
though not at a feast. I haven't seen anyone else do much more around here.
Game meats aren't exactly commonly available, the local wildlife isn't
really standard eating material, and hunting is not a common pastime.

Thanks, Angharad. But it might help to indicate where you are, since
Guillaume was wishing to know how the serving of game differed in the
different kingdoms. And while I should probably remember, I can't remember
right now, where you are located.

You know I was going to say, but then I thought maybe the .au in my email
address would be sufficient clue. Also I get a little weary of saying 'here
in Australia' as if I'm some kind of representative. In fact what I said is
not true of either all parts of Australia or all parts of the Kingdom of
Lochac. Without listing all the baronies where I've eaten or cooked, I
suppose you could say my experience is representative of a broad swathe of
south eastern Australia.

Apologies if I sound kind of grumpy but I am in bed with a cold right now.
Angharad
