In case anyone is in the Boston area, Stuart Peachey will be at  
Plimoth Plantation this weekend.

  	Food and Cookery in Elizabethan and Early Stuart England
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Join Stuart Peachey and explore the diet and cookery of the common man  
during the time of the Pilgrims. Based on extensive research, this  
lively presentation focuses on the diet, dishes, and cookery  
techniques of 17th century England. Find out the recommended daily  
allowance of beer for men, women and children (8 pints!).

Photographs from the historic reconstructed farm kitchens at Green  
Valley (featured in the BBC series Tales from the Green Valley) and  
period images will illustrate this talk. $12 per person, $9 for museum
