There's a recipe in Food and Drink in Medieval Poland on page 159. It
says it is first mentioned under the name caseat as part of a royal  
fasting menu at Korczyn in 1394.
Original recipe isn't given and the dish, like nearly all in the  
cookbook, is based on descriptions of dishes.
However it might do for what your Baroness's needs.
