[Sca-cooks] Quince juice

Technically I suppose you should have a sturdy bowl to collect the juice,
and any object you think suitable to 'press' down on the quinces
(Warhammer!!!). Industrial solutions involving grindstones or presses are
hardly warranted. However a simple tool is a simple plastic juicer from any
kitchenware shop. (I assume they have these in the US?) It consists of a
ribbed cone over which you press half a fruit and then twist. The cone sits
in the middle of a doughnut shapped bowl that collects the juice which runs
down the cone.

Subject: [Sca-cooks] Quince juice

Anyone got any thoughts on how to make quince juice from scratch?  I have a
recipe from al-Warraq that calls for "freshly pressed" quince juice.  I
picked up a couple of fresh quinces, but I'm not sure how to proceed.
