Why not buy one?

anyway, too late, my copy just arrived


inside says first edition was published in German in
1995  :Kulinarische Reise in die
Verganheit’ in ‘SSchriften des Kantonalen Museums fur (umlaut on u)
Urgeschichte Zug’ (volume 44) reprinted in 2000 also a French translation “Voyage
culinaire dans le passé (accent on e)

This is an updated version after more than 15 years.

It does say that they used finds such as burnt on food
crusts in pots charred remains of seeds etc…

However  they do not
give any sources on what was used for any individual recipe (which actually thinking
about doing requires a lot of thought and cross referencing, in general a LOT
of work!)  They do give a reference on
some (Roman ones) and a bibliography or “Literature” section

 

And some of the recipes look interesting, and I bet most of
you can find a reference or source for most of them or at least something
similar…
