[Sca-cooks] medieval/renaissance architectural construction crews & related food references

Greetings, all. I realize this is a little off the wall, but does anyone
have references they can point to for descriptions of medieval and
renaissance architectural construction crews? I'm hoping for descriptions
of building workers in large, populated areas (cities, preferably), but
I'll take other descriptions as well. Text or paintings/artwork would both
be fine. I'm hoping to find food-related references in these working
conditions because I have a wacky idea I want to play with for a bit. I'll
also take ideas on related areas I can look research if people have
suggestions.
