How many servings? Vegetarian?
You might browse here: http://www.medievalcookery.com/recipes/
Or if you own a wafer iron, make wafers and cream.

Are you looking something to bring that can be served hot or cold?
Main dish, appetizer, dessert? How cheap and/or easy are you looking
to go for? Got a nice recipe for smoked salmon or shrimp if you think
it is within your budget.
