Ling is often an alternative name for cod.
Base would be bass, I suspect.

Haburdyn I'd want to check halibut first in the reference books, but that's
just a wild guess.

Bret is a bit tricky.  OED suggests brill or turbot, but I don't think
so.  I have translated it as small dogfish.

Creues would be prawn or shrimp.
