I was fascinated by the name so I looked it up. This is a Fannie Farmer recipe. The book Catering for special occasions: with menus & recipes By Fannie Merritt Farmer is online now through Google Books. My 1911 copy is boxed but I know I own this and it's someplace. Thanks for sharing.
