I'm not sure I would really classify anything non-alcoholic as a
cordial, but there's a whole section of non-alcoholic medicinal
beverages at the end of the Anonymous Andalusian and one of them is a
syrup of lemons (it's *almost* a period lemonade recipe, served hot).
