[Sca-cooks] Cooks Playdate at West An Tir War

Again the Cooks Playdate at the West An Tir War was a great success. Cooks from An Tir and the West camped and cooked together for four days. Friday was fish day and we went through more than a gross of oysters along with other bits of piscaliciousness. There was fire, there were little pots with feet, there was food on spits (including eggs), there was food on grills (again, including eggs), there was fun, there was sharing of knowledge and stories, there was a most excellent good time. This is a regular occurrence over the July 4th holiday, and I recommend to any SCA Cook to join us in the future. I seem to be the organizer of this extravaganza (as much as this communal free form thing is organized) so if you want to put it on your calendar for next year, please contact me if you have questions.
