[Sca-cooks] OT -- Dragonsspine Fire

Thanks for your concern, folks.  We are all well.  We were evacuated 
early Tuesday evening in a miasma of smoke and burning cinders as the 
fire topped the last ridge and hurtled down on us.  Master Alwyn was 
helping us to pack the cars when we got the official call to evacuate 
(along with hundreds of other residents in the area)  he was absolutely 
wonderful in moving and lifting things and getting us into the cars and 
away.  Our home - which many of you remember from the various CookCons - 
is NOT on the "burned out" list so we are cautiously hopeful, but cannot 
get back into the area to evaluate damage.  We are currently staying at 
my daughter's house further east in the Springs and have all we need.
