yes, the rings are reusable.  just like the metal ones for use, but plastic lid and ring are seperate.  you eventually need to replace the rings, but get a number of uses out of them, and just need to replace rings, not lids.
 
i am going to try them soon, but i still need that satisfying click. ;)

Did I miss something are the rings re-usable too?  or are these just plastic lids?  Do the replace the inner metal lid and you still screw down the metal outer rim?
