But I was not comparing. My point is just it, cruelty is a very
relative concept and the values and the norms we regards as absolut
are not universal. We were discussing some months ago if it was kosher
or not to eat cat meat.
And that's my idea with the book, to show than in all ages and times
and cultures certains uses were allowed and certain not and these
values changed all the time.
I am an anthropologist and try to see the world as in in perpetual
turmoil. And Disney was a child too and he surely read the Grimm
Brothers and Hans Kristian Andersen The Little Mermaid :)
