[Sca-cooks] Trader Joes coming to Austin, TX!

Many of you here have given such good reviews of Trader Joes that I was excited when I first heard they were moving to Austin. Unfortunately, the first one announced was on the opposite side of town and not close to me.

However, they've since then announced one downtown and another that's only about six miles from me in northwest Austin. But it won't open for a while.

Rollingwood store (southwest austin) fall 2013
Seaholm (redeveloped power plant in downtown austin), 2014
Arboretum Market (northwest Austin), sometime after that.

The store they are taking over is 52,000 sq. ft. about 5 times their usual size, so they are probably not using all of it but we'll see.
