[Sca-cooks] OOP-French View of English Food

Greetings! "The Old Foodie" (http://www.theoldfoodie.com/) has a blog 
today from 1698 where a Frenchman writes about English food. Since the 
comments may well have some pertinence to the foods available closer to 
1600, I thought you might like to see what "M. Sorbiere" thought about 
what was available in London when he visited. The blogger (from 
Australia) notes that he saw a "great difference in the relative 
consumption of meat and vegetables". The description of the difference 
between certain vegetables is also interesting.
