While I doubt that it will help, period legend has it that a horn funnel was used in the murder of Edward II of England.

Subject: [Sca-cooks] Use of horn to stuff sausages

In the book "An Early Meal" it refers to using hollow horns to stuff
sausages with. I have seen references in translations of sausage making
ingredients that refer to the use of funnels to stuff the casings with. Is
there a good picture, or description that will point me in the direction of
whether anyone used a hollow horn as a funnel to stuff sausages?
