Tea oil is edible, has a high smoking point, and has an herbal flavor, so 
making tea from the seeds might not be far-fetched.  Just don't confuse it 
with tea tree oil.

Different parts of a plant have different qualities.  Wikipedia says
they sometimes press oil from the seeds of tea plants, and I don't
image they would if you could brew tea from them.
