Uh, Suey, what are these items?

Thanks,
? Stefan

Lucema is a tropical fruit native of South America but is grown in California also. It tastes like a cross between maple and sweet potato. It is commonly pureed and used to flavour sauces and ice cream. It is delicious!

Cochayuyo, is bull kelp (Durvillaea antarctica), a seaweed from southern Chile and New Zealand. It is sun dried. When ready for use, it cut and the pieces t be used are soaked in water. They are added to stew and salads.
