And Alton Brown is bringing his roadshow to UNM Popejoy Hall in Albuquerque again this year.  HOORAY!  

It's a great show and worth the moola if it comes your way.

It doesn't start until August 12th, but somehow this program seems promising.

Because the antics on Cutthroat Kitchen aren't enough, Alton Brown is launching a new series called Camp Cutthroat, in which he drags chefs to the great outdoors to force them to cook in miserable conditions. Like Cutthroat Kitchen, the new series appears to feature a preening Brown taunting the competitors, who must overcome absurd obstacles to prepare their dishes. Get an idea of what to expect via link below, which includes a man dressed as a bear and Brown dressed as some sort of deranged scout master.

Reminds me of the days when Iron Chef and mystery box contests were being arranged at Society events.
