"Le Boudin" (The Blood Sausage) is the official marching song of the French 
Foreign Legion.  The word has Anglo-Norman roots and can mean entrails, 
blood sausage or sausage.  With a modifier, boudin is usually translated as 
sausage.

a boudin, precisely?

Does "boudin" mean sausage? Or is it a type of sausage?
