Hello all!

I'm on the digest version of the list so I apologize if there are any repeats in this. I have only a few books in my library, readily at hand, mostly because there are already a lot of good cookbooks from the middle ages and later online. One of the ones I have is the Opera of Bartolomeo Scappi.
https://www.amazon.com/Opera-Bartolomeo-Scappi-prudenza-maestro/dp/1442611480

It's a late period 16th C Roman/Italian cookbook.

My other book I have on hand is the Most Excellent Book of Cookery.

The rest are currently in storage. 😊
Sincerely,
Lady Isabella D'Angelo

So, what are the books that y'all believe every SCA cook should have in
their library? I'm starting to build mine out, and right now its very
limited.

And then what are some of the persona specific books that you would
recommend? Not just mine, but any persona.
