zucchini and gold bar. The most common sort used for the modern recipe
is a very pale yellow, long and narrow squash, sometimes a bit
pear-shaped (or butternut-squash-shaped). It's generally allowed to
grow to several pounds in size, with well-developed seeds that are
removed.
