[Sca-cooks] ISO Stefan li Rous

Good News, Everyone!  I heard back from Stefan Li Rous this morning.  He says: "Thank you for checking with me. I'm doing okay. I still have some health problems I'm working through. I haven't been doing much with the SCA in the last few years. I sure miss the SCA-Cooks mailist."
I told him about the mistaken obituary and the fact that the Florilegium was down and that we had been growing concerned.  I didn't ask about the site further.  He has been running a small electronics business in Austin, TX.  
So, glad to hear the news of his death was greatly exaggerated!

Ah, Stefan de Lorraine.  I hadn't spotted his obituary.  Never met him, but knew of him through his game design.  Definitely not our Stefan.

I hadn't noticed the Florilegium was down, but that is worrisome.  Stefan was very proud of that.  

Please let us know his response.

There was an obituary floated yesterday about a Stefano - Steve Perrin - that identified him as the founder of Stefan's Florilegium. We clarified that pretty quickly to say that wasn't OUR Stefan. But the site is down, and we're just concerned. We are surely hoping that news of his passing has been somewhat exaggerated :)

I think this may be about confusing Stefan, Mark S. Harris, with a Mark R. Harris, also of Austin and roughly the same age, whose obituary appeared a short time ago. Last I heard, Stefan was running an electronics consulting business in Austin.

Also, Ansteorra's online records have him affiliated with the Barony of
Bryn Gwlad, though that may be dated (
