In both cases the people I asked were people who Ought To Know.  This is why the
completely different answers are interesting.

I know at least one item on the dayboard was documentably period since it Looked
Funny (but apparently tasted heavenly since it was gone before I got a chance at
it) and the person running the dayboard was spending lots of time talking about
it with anyone who would stand still long enough to geek with her.  :)

(Am still looking for possible recipe for the Yummy Spinach Balls.)
