Good Margali, Have you by any chance changed your email program's settings so that it leaves messages on your email server even after you have picked them up to read? Some programs such as Eudora allow this. If so, you are simply retrieving the same messages over and over as your server isn't deleting them when you get them. For the non-technical, think of it as getting your letters from a magic mail bag. You have to tell it that you only want to get the letter once or else it will keep giving it to you over and over until you tell it to stop. For some bizzare reason, my email progran has started reproducing email from the 3d, 4th, 5th and 6th of July, 2001. All stuff I had previously recieved so it wasn't wandering around cyberspace for the past few weeks trying to deliver itself - and my ISP, Netscape, Symantec and Norton have never heard of anything like it and we can't figure out what is going on...and nobody has ever heard of a virus that so nicely recreates deleted emails just in case you accidentally deleted some mail ;-) puzzled in CT margali Find the best deals on the web at AltaVista Shopping! http://www.shopping.altavista.com
