Corn products (as well as rice and bean products) are off-limits to Jews of Ashkenazic extraction during Passover. Sweetened beverages which are Kosher for Passover have cane or beet sugar in them - no corn syrup. Charcoal is made from wood (by heating it in an oxygen-deprived environment) - I can't see any way to make charcoal from animal bones. **************************************** Avraham haRofeh mka Randy Goldberg MD
