In the Kingdom of Ansteorra, in the Barony of the Steppes, is an annual event to decide the best Artisan of the Steppes.  This being the 16th year of this great event, you are all invited to enter your best example of dishes that would have been served at a feast of feasts.  This is a 'Body of Work' competition, so one dish will not do.  So go all out and plan to show the best table you can prepare.  If you wish simply to have your latest specialty tested by the populace, there will be tables for display, or sampling, only.  Heat your stoves.

   On this day also will be decided the new Steppes Archer and Steppes Champion (Rapier).  These events postponed due to poor weather at Warlord XXX.  This day will be one of much fun, food, and friendship.  Come enjoy the hospitality of the Steppes.  Their new Majesties, Ansteorra, are to be there for one of their first official visits.
