Is it just me, or is galangal NOT small and black and seed-like? It's a rhyzome, like ginger. <BR>

Perhaps your seeds were grains of paradise or cubebs. <BR>

After much consideration, I think that it was the cubebs. That or some of the whole green cardamoms suffered a containment breach...?<BR>
