Sounds like fun... You may want to check with the library to see if you can
take non-flash pictures. Then when you get them back you can share with
all the rest of us...non-Dallasites... maybe at Steppes or ATYC. Have
fun...Hillary

Just in case some of you did not get this the first time around....

Sincerely,

Hello everybody,

This sounds very interesting. Does anyone plan on going during the day?
I'm on break until June 6 from work/school and this sounds like a neat
thing to do. If you don't mind me tagging along, please e-mail me when and
what time you are going.

Merci! - Jann (AKA Gabrielle H. de St. P.)

SCRIBE ALERT! [If you already know about this please accept my
apologies.]

To all scribes and other interested parties,

I found this information this afternoon in last Saturday's Dallas
Morning News in the Religion section.

The Bridwell Library at SMU's Perkins School of Theology has a newly
acquired book -- The Book of Hours. The manuscript was done by a team
of French or Flemish artists and scribes, and follows the liturgy used
at Salisbury Cathedral. There are a total of 14 illuminated pages.

This Book of Hours may be viewed up close and personal, now through this
Saturday, in its entirety by appointment only. It is recommended that
we go in groups of 2's and 3's, so as not to overwhelm the system.
Contact person at SMU is Mr. Eric White (214-768-3440), I spoke to him
today and he is aware of the SCA and is happy to make appointments for
our viewing pleasure.

Later,
Muireann
