[Scriptoris] Book Recommendations?

Nicolaea:

Master Geoff is most correct: asking this group to start naming their
"I've got money to burn" books might garner you more than you bargained
for. He is also correct in asking you to narrow your focus. What types
of books do you seek? Instructional? Compilation? Thematic? Bang for
the buck?

I really like the idea of bringing books to show and tell at Kingdom
A&S. However, for those of us at home with a baby who just had surgery
(and six weeks of really painful aftercare) (such as myself), *perhaps*
I can do the same on-line if you can give me a more narrow
focus.....and....*perhaps* I said.....

That's why I also suggested a thread or two ago making the pilgrimage to
Mistress Lasair's and\or Mistress Serena's Alexandrian Libraries West.
You know...it *is* the Haj and all (lol!)

Nicolaea,

What kind of books are you looking for? Compilations like Leaves of
Gold,
single source like the Winchester Bible, Instructional etc?

You might be getting a large list from this group. Problem is you still
can't
flip thought them. I suggest checking out your larger libraries.

One thing we could do is everyone going to the Kingdom Heraldic &
Scribal
Symposium bring 3 or 4 of thier favorite books as a show and tell.

All that being said all most any book published by George Braziller, NY
is good.
