First, a series of talks with the patron to see what they like or want. How 
big? Do they have a particular style in mind? What special little personalized 
items would they like to see included? They need to give all the details of 
their full name, date, place, royals' names, etc.

2nd, a search through source books for suitable art and lettering.

3rd, send them a sketch of my idea.

4th, talk some more

5th, begin work.
