I generally get my pricing checks validated on Amazon.  I find a lot of
items on EBay that sell
for more than you can outright buy it on Amazon, via one of their used
book dealers. It pays to do
a bit of research before buying. 

Amazon lists the book at $35. retail price, selling it for $24.50, and
some used books sellers
have it as low as $19.55... now that is all for papercover. 
Hardcover is listed at $55., with used at $39.
