Here is the latest information on the Ansteorran Heraldic and Scribal
Symposium. If you have volunteered to teach a class and don't see it listed,
don't panic. Please check with myself or with the class coordinator about
the class. This list is not the complete list, but is the copy of the
classes that I had at the time it was written. If you would like to teach a
class at the Symposium, please contact us so that we can get your class on
the schedule.

Heraldic and Scribal Symposium
Hosted by the Shire of Middleford
August 20, 2005
Come to the Ansteorran Heraldic and Scribal Symposium hosted by the
Shire of Middleford. Classes will teach all from non-herald/scribe to
newcomer to old timer. Come learn more about what the College of Heralds and
College of Scribes is all about.
The event is Saturday, August 20, 2005 in building 150 on the campus of
Central Texas College. The college is located at 6200 West Central Texas
Expressway, Killeen, Texas 76542. Site will open at 8:00 a.m. and close at
6:00 p.m.; classes begin at 9 a.m. There will be no sideboard lunch; instead
there will be a break for lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. so that you may
visit one of the many restaurants in the Killeen area. The site is dry, no
exceptions. Registered service animals only.
Site is FREE! The symposium is free to all attending; accordingly,
there is no non-member surcharge. Proof of waiver (blue card) is still
required or you must sign the waiver on-site.

A schedule will be posted on the web site for the event. Please check there
often for updates to the classes and scheduling.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They may also
attend with a 21 year or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event
Waiver Form from the parents.

Directions to the site:
>From Interstate 35:
Take your best route on Interstate 35 to Belton, Texas. Take West U.S. 190
to Killeen. Go through Killeen and continue west on U.S. 190 past the Fort
Hood Main Gate and Clear Creek Road exits. Take the Bell Tower Road exit and
cross over U.S. 190 and turn left onto the access road. Proceed down the
access road and turn in the entrance to the college. Turn left immediately
on Bell Tower Road and turn right into the first parking lot. Building 150
is the Nursing and Science Building. The classrooms are located in the
curved hallway.
>From the Western part of the Kingdom:
Take your best route to U.S. Highway 190 East and follow it through Copperas
Cove, Texas. Go past the west Fort Hood Gate exit and take the Bell Tower
Road exit. Continue on the access road. Proceed down the access road and
turn in the entrance to the college. Turn left immediately on Bell Tower
Road and turn right into the first parking lot. Building 150 is the Nursing
and Science Building. The classrooms are located in the curved hallway.
