[Scriptoris] New Insignia Deputy Announced

Greetings Ansteorra, 
It is with great pleasure that I announce the new Insignia Deputy for the College of Scribes in
the College of Heralds Ansteorra; HL John Lightfoot of Seawinds <Lightfootcim at aol.com>.  

The Insignia Deputy is an office to educate and encourage the populace in the design and
development of quality and quantity insignia for the Crown of Ansteorra to present to worthy
receipients receiving awards.   Education will not necessarily consist of teaching the various art
mediums used to create insignia (weaving, metalwork, etc), but rather the correct heraldic design
using in the designated kingdom format (medalions, ribbons, etc.) for the Ansteorran standards.  
Although, the Insignia Deputy will also be encouraging classes in insignia creation of specific
art medium at symposium.   

If you make insignia or have an interest in making insignia, please feel free to contact John. 
May the enthusiasm of insignia artisans flourish in the coming months.
