Scribes,
Below is the list of classes being offered in the Scribal Arts at this year's Gulf War that were
submitted early enough to be in the on-site booklet. However, there is plenty of room to add more
classes should your schedule allow you to attend Gulf Wars.

Classes can still be sent into Kat the Strange at <katthestrange at aol.com> and put on the on-site
schedules, but it's too late for the booklet. Also, once on site, you can add classes by going by
the A&S tent in downtown, to add a new class for the daily poster - and be sure to advise the
Scribes Point moderator about your class as well, so it can be posted/advertised at Scribes Point.

See you at Gulf Wars, Hillary, Signet

Uses of Poetry and Poetic Form in SCA Scribal Arts
Lord Andres Castillo Suarez de Sevilla (Gleann Abhann)
Poetry and poetic form can be used when making scrolls and
awards to better customize the scrollwork to the recipient; an example
of this would be using Irish poetry to augment an award being given to
an individual with an Irish persona, or using Norse poetic techniques
to add flavor to a scroll being designed for a Viking persona.
