The 'SCA - Reckoning Society Calendar Dates'  will keep a scribe straight on which Anno Societatis (A.S.) year it is:

The SCA anniversary and new year begins on May 1st.  
Before May 1st, 2012, the A.S. year is XLVI or 46 or XXXXVI
On and after May 1st, 2012, the A.S. year is XLVII or 47 or XXXXVII
 
Seven days left till the A.S. date change. 
Good to know if working on future dated scrolls.
