[Scriptoris] working with natural pigments and parchment

Alicia - are you intending to 'make' your own pigments or to purchase ground pigments and then add the gum arabic to it, to make your own paints?   
There are different techniques to use for making your own pigments, as in soils, verses plants, verses ore/rocks.
