Subject: [Scribes] Gulf Wars Scribal Information
Greetings illustrious Scribal Arts devotees from Comdessa Elisenda de Luna,
Scribes Point head for Gulf Wars XXI.
As the chilly season continues, the cold rains remind us the time for Gulf
Wars is almost here, and as such I have messages for the Scribes and
Illuminators.
Firstly, I still need more classes to be taught at Scribes Point. If you
are interested in teaching, please respond to me privately with the class
name, description, any other pertinent information, and when you'd prefer
to teach. The deadline for the book is looming overhead, so please respond
quickly.
Also, there will be some minor changes to how Scribes Point is run this
year. It will be open from 9am to 9pm daily, Monday through Friday of the
War, and will be divided into 3 hour shifts. If you'd like to be "in
charge" for a shift, you can just sign up anytime between now and when the
shift begins at GW. So if you know you'll be hanging out in Scribes point
all day, please consider signing up. There will be a drawing on Saturday of
GW, time to be determined, just for the shift leaders from the war. Each
shift gets you one ticket in the draw. This is just my way to personally
thank those who are helping me to make this a great war for everyone in
Scribe's Point.
Also, the scribal social will be held from 7:30 to 9pm on Wednesday. We
will do a Mongolian gift exchange for presents of a general value of $15 at
the social, anyone who wishes to participate may do so. But, to change
things up a little bit, it will be a themed exchange. The theme is "My
favorite...". this means your present can be a favorite shade of red and
blue gouache, a favorite gold leaf, ad favorite nib or two, a mug from your
favorite potter, 3 yards of your favorite colored linen, etc. Anything
goes, so long as it is a favorite of yours. Feel free to be creative.
If you have any questions or comments, on anything involving the scribalarts at
GW, please feel free to contact me.
I look forward to hearing from you, and I hope to see many of you at the
war.
In Service,
Elisenda
