Greetings, 
As you work on scrolls for the coming month, don’t forget the SCA birthday year changes on May 1st, thus creating a new Anno Societatis (A.S.) year for what you calligraphy on your scrolls.   

Dates before May 1, 2014: AS XLVIII  or 48
Dates on or after May 1, 2014:  AS  XLIX   or  49
