Salut Cozyns.

Lyonel aisai.

His Excellency Sir Pendaren says:
>Sadly, Ritter Dieterich is showing his ignorance
>again. *sigh* Welsh, when spoken by a native, is a soft, lyrical
>language. Only when Welsh is attempted with an English alphabet does
>it become guttural. Speaking of guttural languages, ever listen to a
>couple of Germans going at it in heavy conversation? Whew! Sounds like
>a puking contest! :)

Actually, Your Excellency, mastering German pronunciations is quite simple.
Step one: fill your belly with overcooked, lard-laden sausage and
fermented cabbage. Step two: choke down some dry rye bread lubricated with
extremely skunky beer or sour wine. Step three: try to talk. The caraway
seed will get caught in your throat, and the rumbling in your belly will
create just the right guttural tenor.

Warning: excessive consumption of German food or drink will result in
speaking German out the wrong orifice.

vostre cozyn
Sir Lyonel
